![]() Therefore I am not sure if I want to open the sealed bags to duplicate the pieces. After reading about the Marutaka kits for a while I understand these are rather rare and difficult to find. So I would not use the kit to build a model from, but only use it to create a duplicate kit from, but lighter. I was thinking of building a lighter version and for that was about to take all balsa pieces and use them as a template to cut out pieces from lighter balsa (or even depron foam). Just got the plans back from the copy center today. I am contempleting to convert this kit to electric power. I just recently bought a Marutaka F4U-1DCorsair kit from a club member, who had it laying around for years.Īll small pieces are still sealed in their plastic bags, larger pieces are still residing in the die-cut balsa planks.
